About me
Hi, I’m Clare Lawrence and I am the CEO of Discount Domains Ltd. I have worked in the IT industry since 1985, firstly at Mitac Computers selling PC’s, more recently at Primary Storage selling and supporting hard disk drives.
I have always had an interest in
Domain names,from a corporate and personal point of view, but could never find a domain registrar that gave the personal and friendly service I was looking for combined with a reasonable price.
So in 2002 I set-up Discount Domains Ltd, my first site www.discountdomains.ltd.uk was very successful and I built on its success by launching this site in July 2003. I took on board my customer requests for a one-stop shop offering domain names, web hosting and Search engine submissions.
I have observed that success in business comes from giving customers what they ask for – and not over charging for it!
I learnt about domain names by reading web site articles and thought it would be helpful to pass this knowledge on to my customers. I live in Telford,Shropshire,England, with my husband Adrian and our two dogs Ben and Jade (They have day jobs as security guards!) who come to work with me each morning.
I enjoy travel, web designing, SEO and meeting new people.
