    Writing Articles

    Writing Articles
By Clare Lawrence 15th August 2004

How can I promote my website without paying mega bucks?

I have been writing Internet articles since 2002 and besides being satisfying in itself, it has actually given my sites a great boost.

How can articles help? Google the leading search engine has become much more selective in what it considers to be a valuable link.

Good links are ones that are on theme and ideally not a feature of a links page. Whilst links pages are ok the value of a link has to be divided by the number of links on a page.

So…how can you obtain a link on a related external web page? If you think about it, this articles your reading does just that?

Articles should have around 500 words in length; have a theme and a link back to your site. Ideally the theme needs to match your sites own.

Once written you need to find sites that will promote your articles, there are literally hundreds of sites doing just that on the Internet Try for example.

    I wish you luck
